When my wife was trying to get pregnant she would practically stand on her head after sex to make sure none of the "evidence" leaked out, thus increasing her likelyhood of getting knocked up.  I'll bet Rollie's wife does the same.  Still, his plan is definitely flawed.  Sooner or later he's going to blow it (pardon the pun).

You all underestiate me and overestimate Jan.   I have ridden my stationary bike to Winnipeg by now and will cross the country if it means no little Rollies.   Plus even though i love her to death, Jan has never warmed up to the idea of the camera following us, let alone watching the webisodes, let alone getting on the website - i doubt she even knows there is a forum.

I was not sure that I wanted kids either then when we started having them. Then I was bummed when the Mrs. said she wanted to stop at 3.  Just so you know, your kids are not like other kids!  I don't like other people's kids only my own.  They are the best thing I have ever done.  I'm still play on two teams, and go to out of town Tournaments.  Hey, Hockey does not have to take a back seat to Children....There's plenty of room in the front seat for both, you just have to juggle thing once in a while.

 I would agree that your own kids are different, and most Dads end up besotted with them (until they get to teenage and become sulky, defiant, know-it-all brats who steal your socks and make them go all grey and stiff) ..but your life totally changes 

If you assume everything will go on the same, but just with a couple of designer babies tacked on, you are doomed to endless domestic disharmony.  When you are ready for the change, you will wonder why you waited so long

Yeah , no ***! That  was pathetic.My wife might get mad at me about something like that but she'd never whine like that! If Janice feels her life is that shitty then maybe she should go out an do something about it.

Ah my friend, the line we have all said, and most of us have taken *** for.  The problem isn't she needs her own hobby, but you are her hobby and she she wants you at home because she is depressed and she is leaning on you to help her get out of it. 

It unfair, and BS, but it is what it is.  It's great to hang out with the wife, but if you don't have any atonomy, then you start to resent the time spent with each other.  What your saying it what is needed to fix the issue (guys do that), but it's like having a naked Angelina Jolie (or Brad for the girls) in front of you and wants you badly, but you know to fix your life you need to break up with her.  You'll still do it, just maybe tomorrow.
